- Building Permit Fee Calculation: Rs. 35 per sq. ft. for commercial/institutional/hotel, Rs. 25 per sq. ft. for residential, Rs. 7 per sq. ft. for multiple ownership transfers, Rs. 5 per sq. ft. for single ownership transfer, Rs. 5 per sq. ft. for usage change, Rs. 2 per sq. ft. for building completion certificate, and Rs. 1 per sq. ft. for revised drawings. - Designer Fee: NPR 2,000.00, charged by the Urban Development Department, and requires a licensed designer with a Certificate of Designer (renewed annually for NPR 1,000.00).
- Building Completion Certificate Process: Build Company submits an application, Municipality conducts an on-site inspection, and the certificate is issued within 7-10 days.
- Report Preparation: Inspector prepares a report with facts and photographs, submitted to the senior engineer with recommendations.
- Report Review and Approval: Senior engineer reviews the report and submits to the departmental engineer, who then submits to the CEO or designated authority for approval.
- Completion Certificate Issuance: Once approved, the municipality issues the building completion certificate to the build company.
